Pixies Live CDs to be released on US Fall Tour
Limited-edition live CDs to be made available immediately after their shows
We are once again going to be following in their own groundbreaking footsteps, releasing “instant” live disc sets within minutes after hitting the last note on stage on the US fall tour.
The tour starts on Sept 7th in Philadelphia, PA, and wraps after 16 shows in San Diego, CA, and is a continuation of their 20th anniversary “Doolittle” tour, commemorating the release of their record of the same name. The band will play the entire Doolittle record from start to finish, and will also include special “B” sides and other favorites.Each show will be brilliantly captured and mixed on-the-fly, and will be packaged in a commemorative two-disc Doolittle Live DigiPak.
The consumer price of each collectible disc set is $25 USD, available online at
www.doolittlelive.com and also $25 at each show.
Discs may either be picked up at the end of the show, or shipped home
